If you are a German student who is eligible for Bildungsurlaub Educational Leave this is a great opportunity for you to take part in General English courses at Bell Cambridge or Bell London.

What is Bildungsurlaub Educational Leave?

Educational Leave is time off to take a course of full-time studies. If you apply for this through Bell you will have a full-time course to improve your English in all areas: speaking, writing, reading, listening, pronunciation, grammar and vocabulary.

What are the Bildungsurlaub participating states?

Language courses offered by Bell are recognised as Educational Leave in the following federal states:

  • Baden-Württemberg
  • Berlin
  • Brandenburg
  • Bremen
  • Hamburg
  • Hessen
  • Niedersachsen
  • Saarland
  • Rheinland-Pfalz
  • Sachsen-Anhalt

Course details

This is an intensive course for a maximum of two weeks. Participants are required to be aged 18+ and have a minimum B1 intermediate level of English.

For Bildungsurlaub participants in German states that require 30 full hours, our optional cultural and historical lessons offered in the afternoon are obligatory.

Bildungsurlaub courses can be taken at both Bell Cambridge and Bell London.
