A new multi-use games area (MUGA) officially opened at Bell Cambridge this month.

The new MUGA will provide a grass-like facility which can be used by students throughout the year – irrespective of the weather.

The impressive addition of a 41.5m x 27.5m 3G artificial grass court with goal post units will facilitate various non-rebound sports and games for our students. The on-campus facility is also located next to our Games Pavilion that will continue to offer students space to enjoy table football, table tennis, pool, arts and crafts, TV and X-box gaming.

Chief Executive of Bell, Catrin Diamantino, said “We would like to thank all those involved – including the Bell Educational Trust, staff and wider local community – for supporting this project.”

“The refurbishment will benefit our students and champion the importance of integrated learning when studying a new language. It’s important to us that we continue to look forward and invest in our facilities so that our students feel confident and can trust they will always experience the highest quality of education at our schools.”

S & C Slatter were the lead contractor for the build, with over 25 years of experience as specialists in construction and maintenance of premium quality artificial turf sports facilities and 3G pitches.
