An introduction to Bell London

‘Bell London is more than just a school. We are a close-knit, engaged and friendly community that puts your education and care as our top priority.

Although Bell thinks ‘big’ – having an excellent track record of delivering education programmes across the world – we are also able to focus on the ‘small’. Our small classes and family-like community ensure that we are able to get to know our students as individuals and encourage each of them to achieve and surpass their expectations.

As a leading English language school in the UK, our aim has been – and always will be – to help international students achieve their dreams and realise their learning ambitions. Whichever course you study with us, you can rest assured that you will be well supported throughout your time with Bell.’

Staying with a local homestay host is a great way to experience British life, and provide an opportunity to practise your English outside of the classroom. In homestay accommodation, students have their own single bedroom (twin rooms may also be available on request).

All our homestay hosts are carefully selected and visited regularly to ensure consistently high standards. Many of our host families have been working with us for a number of years.

Please note that from time to time, we may use a third party homestay provider to help us source the best homestay for our students. Hosts International meets the standards for registration with the British Council as a provider of homestay accommodation for adults (18+) and under 18s, for accredited providers across the UK.

Meet Antonella

Antonella is our lovely Student Services Assistant at Bell London.

Getting to and from Bell London

We know that international travel can be tiring. We can arrange private taxi transfers to pick you up from a London airport or train station, so you can simply relax and enjoy your journey to Cambridge. Alternatively, there are strong public transport links from London to Cambridge that will benefit students who are interested in finding their own way.
Whatever you choose, let us support to find the best route possible so you can travel safely and with confidence.

For a smooth arrival, we can arrange for a taxi transfer to pick you up from your terminal or airport, and take you direct to the Bell London school. Booking this service is simple and easy. Select the ‘airport transfer’ option on your booking or enrolment form when applying.
If you have already received your booking confirmation, we can still arrange this for you. Simply contact our multi-lingual customer service team.

Travelling by coach will often save you money, but it’s important to know that the journey time may be longer. The largest British coach operator is National Express, which runs regular coaches from Heathrow, Gatwick, Stansted and Luton airports to Central London.

Travelling by train can be scenic and relaxing way to travel, adding a real sense of adventure to your trip. There are airport links to city centre from every major London airport, and if you are arriving by Eurostar, you can take the underground straight away.

The easiest way to travel around London is by taking the underground or ‘Tube’. You can purchase an Oyster Card, a rechargeable ticket which you can use on the underground, as well as buses and some trains. Alternatively, you can use contactless payment on accepted credit or debit cards.

Bell London is located close to London Bridge underground station on the Northern or Jubilee lines.

You can also travel around London by bus. Buses do take longer than the underground, due to the London traffic, however you do get to see more of the city travelling this way. As with the underground, you can purchase an Oyster Card, a rechargeable ticket which you can use on all buses.
