Temporary closure of Bell schools

In response to the latest government announcement and new quarantine measures from the UK government, we have made the difficult decision to cancel all Bell courses that were due to run in June and July. As a result, our Bell London and Bell Cambridge schools will remain closed, as they have been since 20 March 2020.

We are reaching out to all relevant students to defer their studies until such time that they are ready and able to come study with us.

Of course, the welfare of our students continues to be our top priority.

To minimise the disruption on some of our student’s progress – particularly those who intend to study at university later this year – we have been continuing delivery online for students who were already enrolled at our schools at the time of lockdown. Our Designated Safeguarding Officers continue to be available – 24 hours a day, 7 days a week – to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all students. Our school staff have also been speaking regularly to students as well as host families to check on the wellbeing of students in their care.

Unfortunately, we can not confirm how long our schools will need to remain closed at this time. We will continue to monitor the latest official health and travel advice from the British Government, World Health Organisation and Public Health England to ensure we are able to take coordinated, proportionate, and decisive action in this evolving situation.
